Abstract:

Depression along with cardiovascular diseases have been suggested to be one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in the 21st century. The prevalence rate of depression is about 5%. Depression has been shown to comorbid with anxiety disorders and suicide. In this talk, the audience will learn about the symptoms of depression and anxiety disorders. The audience will also be provided with some tips on how to de-stress.
